DC Cup Finals
|
| PBYS had two teams playing in the DC Cup Finals last weekend. The U12 boys, coached by Mike Wallace, played well but did not make it to the championship game. Meanwhile, for the U14 girls, coached by Frank Tobar, the championship came down to two games. The Steelers eliminated the Space Coast Grease Lightning from round one with a final score of 3-2. During the final match, the Steelers found themselves battling for first place against the Titusville Slymers. With 6 minutes left, Mother Nature unleashed a brutal storm, forcing the Refs to call the game with the ending result of 3-2 Steelers. The Steelers upheld their undefeated record throughout the Season and DC Cup. Check out their team photo to the right. They are the ones in gold uniforms. Congratulations to both sets of players, coaches, and parents.
